At MJ Barbershop, we value your time and ours. To ensure that we can provide the best service to all our clients, we have implemented the following comprehensive cancellation policy:
Appointment Confirmation: Once you book an appointment, it is confirmed immediately. You will receive two reminders: one 12 hours before your appointment and another 2 hours before.
Cancellation Procedure: If you need to cancel your appointment, please call your barber directly at the phone number provided in your confirmation email. Cancellations cannot be made through the online booking system.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel within 2 hours of your scheduled time, you will be charged 100% of the total service amount.
Payment Instructions for No-Shows: In the event of a no-show, payment instructions will be sent via email. The payment is due within 5 business days. Failure to pay within this period may result in additional charges or restrictions on future bookings.
Late Arrival: If you are running late, please inform us immediately. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show. If you notify us before the 10-minute mark, we may offer partial services; however, full charges will still apply.
Exceptions: We understand that emergencies can occur. Please contact us immediately in such cases, and we will review each situation individually. Exceptions may be made at our discretion based on the circumstances.
Respect for Time: This policy helps us manage our schedule effectively and ensures that all clients have the opportunity to book appointments.
Compliance with Finnish Laws: Our cancellation policy complies with Finnish consumer protection laws. According to Finnish regulations, consumers have certain rights regarding cancellations and refunds. For instance, in the case of distance contracts, consumers have a 14-day statutory right to cancel. However, this does not apply to services scheduled for a specific date and time, such as barber appointments.
